This blog has been set-up for the OPC Ladies' Koinonia group to be able to keep up with where we are in our study, share prayers/praises mid-week, and have discussion if something comes up in between our weekly meetings. We are a group of women who gather to study the word of God, love one another, and support one another.

i missed seeing y'all last night! dogsitting was no fun...fortunately, though, cowboy--the stray dog who is living with us--is at the vet now getting neutered! hopefully this will calm him down and cure his wanderlust. and it definitely is a burden off my shoulders!
i have a praise i wanted to share with y'all last night. Mama told me last weekend that her doctor had found something in her kidney, and of course we were all scared that it was something horrible. Mama was prepared for the worst, and praying for the best. fortunately, they didn't find anything serious! however, this incident caused me to think a lot about how incredibly awful it would be to lose my parents, and I've been praying a lot this week, asking God to calm me down and speak to me about this...i guess as i get older and some of my friends start to lose their parents, it just totally freaks me out to think about losing my parents.
but anyway, that's what's on my mind, and i hate that i missed what i'm sure was a riveting discussion about wifely submissiveness! y'all have a great weekend! see you soon! <3 joy
